Four Megapixels, Whatever Shape You Need

Black Forest Labs rates the whole FLUX.2 family for output up to 4MP at any aspect ratio. The Editly form narrows that to two quality steps, 1K and 2K, and eight framings — 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 3:4, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16, and auto, which leaves the framing decision to the model.

Eight References In A Single Pass

FLUX.2 was built around multi-reference conditioning rather than one-image-at-a-time editing. Attach up to eight references of 10 MB each and the request moves to the image-to-image endpoint by itself, holding a face, a product, or a brand palette steady across the batch instead of redrawing it each time.

Type That Survives The Render

Legible typography is the claim FLUX.2 leads with — infographics, packaging copy, memes, UI mockups. BFL points typography-heavy work at the Flex tier in particular, which is why both tiers sit on the same Editly form rather than one being chosen for you.

No GPU, No API Key, No Install

The open members of the family ask for hardware: dev is 32 billion parameters, and even the distilled klein 4B wants roughly 13 GB of VRAM.
